Logic Finder Builds Pathways to Technology Careers for Underserved Communities Across America

Logic Finder: Building Pathways and Possibilities for Underserved Communities

Fairfax, VA For Logic Finder, technology isn’t just about innovation,  it’s about people. The company’s work across the country has quietly but powerfully reshaped opportunities for individuals and communities that often sit on the margins of the tech economy.

From the rural towns of Southwest Virginia to the Navajo Nation, from individuals with disabilities to recently immigrated families and retired veterans, Logic Finder is proving that access to technology careers can transform lives  and strengthen entire regions.

Expanding Opportunity in Southwest Virginia

Logic Finder’s expansion into Southwest Virginia (SWVA) marks a major step in its long-term mission to bring meaningful tech careers to areas often overlooked by the industry. Over the next five years, the company plans to create more than 150 high-paying jobs in cybersecurity, networking, and cloud computing.

Through a “train-to-hire” model, Logic Finder works with local universities — including UVA Wise, and Virginia Tech — to prepare students and professionals with the certifications and hands-on training needed to step directly into technical roles.

“We’re not just hiring talent,” said Wajid Hassan, CEO of Logic Finder. “We’re building a sustainable workforce that keeps people in their communities. The goal is to make sure opportunity doesn’t require leaving home.”

Partnering with Navajo Technical University

Logic Finder’s partnership with Navajo Technical University has opened new doors for students from the Navajo Nation to enter the cybersecurity and IT fields. The collaboration focuses on giving students practical experience in real-world projects while helping tribal communities strengthen their own cybersecurity infrastructure.

By working side-by-side with Logic Finder engineers and mentors, students gain the skills — and the confidence to lead in a fast-changing digital world.

Creating Inclusive Tech Careers with DARS

In Fairfax County, Logic Finder works closely with the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) enter the technology workforce. Through personalized training, supportive mentorship, and inclusive hiring practices, the company is creating a model that proves accessibility and excellence can coexist — and that people with disabilities have a vital place in the tech industry.

Supporting Veterans Through Mentorship

Logic Finder’s commitment to inclusion extends to those who have served the country. As part of the American Corporate Partners (ACP) Mentorship Program, CEO Wajid Hassan has personally mentored two retired veterans last year, helping them transition into civilian tech careers.

“These men had incredible leadership and problem-solving skills,” Hassan shared. “They just needed a bridge into a new field. Mentorship gives them that bridge — and it gives us perspective on what service, discipline, and resilience really look like.”

Helping New Americans Find Their Place in Tech

Logic Finder also engages with recently immigrated professionals, helping them navigate the U.S. job market and earn technical certifications in cybersecurity and IT. These programs have helped new Americans secure stable, long-term roles that support both their families and their communities.

Technology with a Human Purpose

Across every program, Logic Finder’s message stays consistent: innovation means little unless it includes everyone.

Whether it’s creating jobs in rural Virginia, mentoring a veteran, or helping a student from the Navajo Nation become a cybersecurity specialist, Logic Finder continues to show that technology can be a force for equity and empowerment.

“We want our success to mean something beyond revenue and contracts,” said Hassan. “If we can use technology to change lives  to give people confidence, dignity, and a future — then we’re doing the work we’re meant to do.”
